A playful new collection called Tropical Excellence launches online at Crystal Cylinder today with the collaboration from Emma Mulholland and TCSS (The Critical Slide Society) a perfect way to keep that summer feeling going. Leading lifestyle platform Crystal Cylinder is the exclusive New Zealand stockist of the one-off collection and will have the range available at the brand’s flagship store in New Plymouth too, as soon as retail stores are able to open again in NZ.
Tropical Excellence was a fun idea thought up by Emma and the Critical Slide team over a plate of sushi in Bondi. The collection itself features Emma Mulholland’s signature summer tones that are complemented by joyful hand-painted prints created by Critical Slide founder, Jimmy Slide. The pieces themselves are crafted from 100% recycled cotton fleece, merino and rayon so you can look summery while feeling cosy as the cooler weather sets in.
The collection is a perfect fit for Crystal Cylinder’s laid back style as the online retailer and physical showroom was born through a love of a lifestyle best lived by the coast. The brand curates an appealing mix of leading global brands, products and content which is aimed at an audience that appreciates modern surf culture and subcultures of music, art and photography.
