GOOD&CO’s launches The Everything Tote
We love it when a designer does something unexpected, so as long-time fans (and wearers) of the sumptuously elegant GOOD&CO digitally printed silk scarves, we were somewhat taken aback to discover that Lillie Toogood’s latest fabric choice is hard-wearing, heavy-duty cotton canvas. Water-resistant at that.
It’s a drastic departure from her usual softly draped scarf forms, fluid design cohesion and love of luxe fabrics.
It wasn’t until we took a closer look that it all started to make sense. Lillie has taken her same keen interest in statement accessories and utilitarian luxury style and applied it to create the ultimate tote bag.
Aptly named The Everything Tote and measuring a convenient 48x48cm, it’s quite possibly the perfect balance of everyday practicality and subtle sophistication.
Everything unnecessary has been stripped back and the large flat design with adjustable straps can transition from a shoulder bag to a handheld tote, equipped to handle everything from a weekend getaway to performing as your everyday office or gym bag.
And in a nod to what’s always been at the heart of GOOD&CO, there’s the nostalgic touch of a dedicated scarf ring (so you can accessorise your tote with your favourite scarf — nicely done).
The Everything Tote (in black, natural, and army) is available online and at selected stockists now, along with the new GOOD&CO collection of cosy winter scarves in exclusive prints across oversized wool, skinny wool, and single-colour chunky wool wraps.
