Designer cups make the WORLD of difference

Kiwi not-for-profit The Village Project and designer WORLD have joined forces for a second year to raise money to provide water for Ugandan communities in need.

100% of profits from the WORLD coffee cups will go towards The Village Project’s rain-harvesting initiatives in Uganda.

The Village Project is an initiative that is responsible for the construction of a rainwater collection and distribution model passing on the skills to Ugandan villages to build more. It is this system that allows villages to become less reliant on wells and ultimately less vulnerable to drought, famine and disease.

The designer cups have been hand-crafted on Waiheke Island and buying one, from any WORLD store, gives kiwis the opportunity to help Ugandan villages in need this Christmas.

The WORLD coffee cups act as a bright and positive reminder that our community can do something to help struggling communities far away from Aotearoa.

The Village Project coffee cups are $25.00, and can be purchased from WORLD stores and online www.thevillageproject.org.nz
