New Zealand’s favourite leather goods label, Deadly Ponies, are about to release their new Pony Rider jacket and it’s truly the ultimate leather jacket. The new hero piece spent two years on the cutting table being developed and is a homage to the iconic biker jacket.
As with all of the brand’s beautifully handcrafted pieces the Pony Rider jacket has been carefully designed and finished so that every detail is impeccable. The double front zip-pocket cleverly references Deadly Ponies’ most iconic of bags, while the traditional ‘V’ pockets also function as sleeve closures. The gorgeous new jackets are also up for customisation with the brand creating detachable fur collars in Black, Gull Grey, and vibrant Wasabi.
Designer Liam Bowden wanted the jacket to embody the strength and confidence of not just the brand but of the Deadly Ponies woman. These new pieces are manufactured in Italy using their signature New Zealand Bulle Lamb Leather to create products of the highest quality that will last for seasons to come.
They’ve also created a Shearling Jacket which will no doubt make it hard for the Deadly Ponies fans to choose which jacket to buy this season. The sublime jackets are produced in New Zealand using breathable wool, which makes for a warm but lightweight jacket perfect for the cooling weather.
Deadly Ponies covetable new jackets are in store and online April 6th.
