Deadly Ponies have opened a stunning new store in Britomart relocating from the ground floor of the Seafarers Building on Tyler Street to The Pavilions beautiful shopping strip. The move has come at the perfect time for the brand meaning they can build on the fresh creative direction of their recently refurbished Deadly Ponies flagship store in Ponsonby. Creative director Liam Bowden has collaborated with celebrated interior designer Katie Lockhart on both spaces which are contemporary and luxurious in line with the brand’s current direction.

There has always been an artistic approach to Deadly Ponies collections and Liam is often inspired by clever local and international artists. Fittingly, the new store utilised the creative talents of artists Grant Bailey, Hayley Bridgeford and Browynne Cornish to fit the interiors with bespoke furnishings and ceramic elements under Katie Lockhart’s direction. She has also sourced unique vintage wares, including hand-painted Dutch ceramics from the early 1900s, Japanese collectors’ items and an antique woven lampshade to create a truly tasteful and intimate space.

The result is an elegant, modern store that beautifully presents Deadly Ponies’ latest range and will also be home t the brand’s soon-to-launch D LY P brand. You can find the new Deadly Ponies store at The Pavilions in Britomart, 16 Te Ara Tahuhu Walkway, Auckland CBD.
