The first drop of Deadly Ponies‘ new Fall/Winter 2021 collection arrived in stores and online this week offering a covetable range of handbags and accessories. The celebrated leathergoods brand can always be relied upon for chic designs that offer unexpected touches and this season is no exception.
Sweet candy-coloured hues of foxglove and meringue feature alongside rich neutrals of toffee and noir in this range which offers up incredible tactile textures in hi-gloss lizard and croc. A custom-designed leopard print in calf-hair leather lends a spirited touch to the collection. Silhouettes vary from the classically structured to soft and slouchy with appealing new additions in the range.
There’s new key styles with Ripple and Twister joining the Deadly Ponies stable, not to mention the introduction of downsized Mr Sling Micro too. Beloved signature style Mr Boxette has been given an update with the Ripple Midi and Mini offering folded pleat detailing which showcases the artisan skill of the brand.
“With our Ripple family we wanted to create a quintessential evening bag,” says Creative Director, Liam Bowden. “The style is all-encompassing, it is a clutch and wallet in one carefully considered piece. Breaking from a traditional chain strap, we’ve designed a delicate rope handle that can be doubled over or removed for versatility.”
Twister takes the classic tote bag and blows it into oversized proportions, with a twisted top handle adding to the fascinating silhouette of the style.
The next two drops from Deadly Ponies’ Fall/Winter 2021 range arrive over the coming months.
