Luxury leathergoods brand Deadly Ponies have just released their newest offering, Depths of Desire which is their Autumn/Winter 2018 collection. The gorgeous new range was inspired by an ‘unlikely, imagined love affair between a deep-sea monster and a zeppelin’ and is one of the brand’s most experimental seasons yet.
Creative Director Liam Bowden excels at utilising unexpected creative influences and creating collections that capture the imagination which is exactly what Depths of Desire achieves so beautifully. The designer was feeling particularly artistic with this range and drew on bold design flourishes from the Bauhaus movement and rich hues from the ’70s including Marmalade, Rhino and Ink. Fluid ruffles, charming sheepskin and polka dots make for appealing features that elevate this winsome collection of bags and accessories.
Deadly Ponies reveal eleven new silhouettes with this collection including; Mr Zeppelin Tote, Mr Pippy Pouch, Mr Fill N Buckle, Mr Verne, and the Pirouette Clutch. Each piece incorporates the classic refinement of traditional leatherwork and is impeccably finished to the brand’s exacting standards making for memorable pieces that are designed to be kept.
