Python is the brand new capsule collection from Deadly Ponies that drops today and it beautifully showcases the innovative talent and strong creative vision of the brand. This fresh capsule drops just in time for the Winter season and explores new techniques, designs and products that add another exciting dimension to the brand’s incredible product offering.
Creative director, Liam Bowden, and his team have pushed themselves to deliver a unique collection that celebrates the impeccable craftsmanship of the brand and forges new ground. The Python that the range is named for is actually a clever man made snakeskin texture that is meticulously created in lengthy processes from goat hide. The stunning result is utilised for gorgeous bags, wallets and accessories in warm autumnal hues.
Mr Woolf is a covetable new style that is a fresh evolution of the previous Mr Bone Mailman style and is cut from the same pattern but crafted from structured material and has refined details. This new twist on a beloved style is sure to be a Deadly Ponies fan favourite this season. Mr Toast is another favoured new style that has an unusual, flat shape that is somewhat similar to a piece of toast, hence its amusing name. It’s designed to be a tote that feels like the shadow of a larger tote and its adjustable nature means it can be carried as a clutch or worn as a striking shoulder bag.
Also new for this season is a different product category, with Deadly Ponies exploring belts for the first time which is a perfect addition to their luxurious range. The belts are beautifully crafted in the brand’s signature style and feature a brass buckle and current season textures and colours. The charming belts are available in two widths and are a great complementary piece to other Deadly Ponies products or work well on their own.
This collection features a wonderful new update of the brand’s brass hardware which references classical marine hardware and can be found on the Mr Toast and Mr Woolf styles as well as the belt range. Modern jewellery complements the Python collection and was designed by Deadly Ponies team member Hannah Rowland whose love of earrings inspired her pieces for the range.
