Cotton On have always had a passion for denim and back in 1991 the brand sold its first pair of denim out of a car boot. Things have come a long way since then and Cotton On recently celebrated the release of their This Is How We Denim collection which pays tribute to their 90s roots as you can see in their campaign images.
The new collection includes over 100 pieces with jeans, denim jackets, shorts and skirts all priced affordably and featuring distressed details, embroidery and a variety of denim washes. Whether you like classics or on trend looks Cotton On are encouraging customers to do things their own way and celebrate denim.
To launch the new range Cotton On hosted an event in Grey Lynn that included a live photoshoot featuring local models and influencers. The shoot was directed by acclaimed local creative duo, stylist Imogen Wilson and photographer Logan Buchanan who shot the denim-clad party goers in a series of fun photos that reflect the aesthetic of the brand. Each model was able to choose their own pieces to reflect their personal style and the results are playful and reflect the youthful energy of the brand.
