The second palette for 2022 from moochi recently arrived in stores and online with the new collection titled Continuum. For this range creative director Kelli Taylor was thinking about how we are emerging from a time of change, and Continuum captures the shared sentiment of stepping into this new season with a reinvigorated sense of strength, determination and purpose.
This range features contemporary looks from moochis’s mainline, faithfuls and six and seven labels which work in unison to form the foundations of a modern and cohesive wardrobe for the moochi wearer. Now that we’re well into the cooler weather this collection is all about layering directional and classic pieces for easy Autumn/Winter style. A hero hue for the season is green which appears in a range of tones from earthy deep evergreen to bold bright green and works beautifully with the neutral hues that make up the base of this range.
The brand’s slick tailoring and modern silhouettes make for an elevated offering which plays with volume in a practical way. Outerwear is a strong focus with a covetable range of jackets, blazers and coats offering plenty of warm options from the slick coat and the bypass blazer to the point waistcoat. The brand’s signature dresses also feature in billowing styles and more refined shapes with the semi-sheer fabrications making for easy layering and effortless style. Knitwear is also a key component of the range with luxuriously soft sweaters and cardigans in a range of timeless and more directional shapes in subtle neutrals.
For moochi, material innovation and long-lasting design concepts remain at Continuum’s core. The collection was designed with intention and rendered in intricate construction, with much-loved moochi styles reinterpreted in sustainable fabrications like recycled polyester and organic cotton. Palette two is driven by an ardent undercurrent of effervescence, and is your sign to move forward and embrace the now.
