Cosy plus size pyjamas to snuggle up in

It’s that time of year when we wish we could hibernate in our warm cosy beds, or at very least curl up on the couch with a blanket and our Netflix watchlist. Need some new pyjamas to get snuggly? Here’s some we’ve found in store and online.

Cosy plus size pyjamas

P.A. Plus Strawberry Tartan Flannelette Nightshirt (size 1+ – 3+ / 16 – 26), $99.99 from Peter Alexander (left), Lace Trim Splice Nightie (size XXS – XL / 12 – 24), $84.95 from Taking Shape (centre), P.A. Plus Penny Chunky Rib Nightie (size 1+ – 3+ / 16 – 26), $89.99 from Peter Alexander (right).

If nighties, sleep shirts or nightshirts are your thing, then there’s a whole range of different styles to snuggle up in. If it’s particularly cold, layer some sleep leggings underneath these for extra warmth (serious bedtime game changer!).

Starry Night PJ Top (size XXS – XL / 12 – 24), $59.95 and Starry Night PJ Pants (size XXS – XL / 12 – 24), $69.95 from Taking Shape (left), Cotton On Curve Sleep Recovery Hip Grazer T-Shirt (size 16-24), $34.99 and Cotton On Curve Sleep Recovery Drop Crotch Pant (size 16-24), $39.99 from Cotton On (centre), P.A. Plus Pug Hug Tee (size 1+ – 3+ / 16 – 26), $49.99 and P.A. Plus Pug Hug Easy Pj Pant (size 1+ – 3+ / 16 – 26), $69.99 from Peter Alexander (right).

There’s something so fun about a matching set of pyjamas – whether it’s a print, plain colours or characters, it makes getting ready for bed feel like an event! As an added bonus, all of these PJ bottoms have pockets which come in super handy.

Mimi Playsuit (size 12 – 24), $89.99 from City Chic (left), Black Bamboo Lounge Onesie (size XXS – XL / 12 – 24), $119.95 from Taking Shape (centre), Ella Romper (size 12 – 24), $89.99 from City Chic (right).

Slinky, cosy or comfortable? One pieces are great for both lounging around or wearing to bed, and we think they’re perfect for wearing to enjoy breakfast in bed on the weekend.

P.A. Plus Penny Long Sleeve Tee (size 1+ – 3+ / 16 – 26), $49.99 from Peter Alexander (left), Sienna Sleep Shirt (size 12 – 24), $89.99 from City Chic (centre), Wild Child Sleep Long-Sleeve Cotton Tee (size 18 – 26), $34.99 from Farmers (right).

If you’re not a fan of a matching set or perhaps you’d like to mix and match there are lots of fun options available. Some of the sleep tops out there are more like jumpers so if you like to have something warm to wear when you get up for breakfast in the morning or you live somewhere chilly, those are a great option and can be layered over singlets and tees if needed.

P.A. Plus Unicorn Buffalo Flannelette Legwarmer Pj Pant (size 1+ – 3+ / 16 – 26), $89.99 from Peter Alexander (left), Wild Child Sleep Ditsy Print Soft Touch Jogger (size 18 – 26), $34.99 from Farmers (centre), P.A. Plus Disneyland Easy Pj Pant (size 1+ – 3+ / 16 – 26), $79.99 from Peter Alexander (right).

There’s something inherently cosy about winter pyjama pants – whether you wear classic flannelette or go for something with more stretch, it’s important to make sure they’re soft and comfy. Bonus points for pockets!

Cosy plus size pyjamas

Lace Trim Robe, (size 12 – 24), $119.95 from Taking Shape (left), ANJI Robe (size 1 – 4 / 16 – 30), $185.00 from House of Boom (centre), Chemise and Robe Set (size XXS – XL / 12 – 22), $109.99 from City Chic (right).

Robes are great for providing extra warmth when you need to emerge from the cosy cocoon of your bed. They’re also pretty handy for extra coverage if you wear something a little saucy to bed or if you’re answering the door to the courier in the morning.
