Following the success of COS‘s campaign in support of OutLine Aotearoa last year, the brand have launched a new collection in celebration of Global Pride 2022, called Love for all. 100% of the profits from the collection will go to OutLine Aotearoa, which is an organisation that offers targeted mental-health services to our rainbow community.
The limited-edition collection features three unique designs that are a collaboration with creators from the LGBTQIA+ community including performance poet, trans-visibility campaigner, and model Kai-Isaiah Jamal, artist, and creative director Zipeng Zhu, and musician and award-winning actor SOKO. The designs incorporate the personal touch of each talent in a beautiful celebration of their style and individuality.
The foundation of the collection is COS’s gender-neutral T-shirts which are the perfect canvas for Zipeng Zhu’s iconic, bold typography forms a colourful rainbow smiley LOVE emblem while SOKO incorporates music in her design, embracing the title of her powerful pride anthem, Oh, to be a Rainbow! The third T-shirt design features an original poem by Kai-Isaiah Jamal, whose work puts language to experiences that can be hard to express.
To showcase the collection, campaign imagery was photographed by artist and fashion photographer Collier Schorr, featuring creatives from the rainbow community alongside their partners, families, and friends. The imagery wonderfully captures the campaign message of Love for all.
OutLine is an all-ages rainbow mental health organisation providing support to the rainbow community, their friends, Whānau, and others in need of assistance. The services they provide are nationwide, free and confidential, with an 0800 support line for people who want to speak to a trained volunteer from the rainbow community. OutLine also provide face-to-face specialist rainbow counselling and an Auckland based trans and non-binary peer support service.
COS’s Love for all collection is available in COS Newmarket and COS Commercial Bay throughout June.
