'Nazar'
A Nazar is an eye-shaped amulet believed to protect against the evil eye.The word 'nazar' is derived from the Arabic 'sight' or 'seeing'. This season Tigerlily takes you on a journey to Turkey and draws print inspiration from other parts of Europe including Croatia, Russia and Hungary.
Stand out prints include the 'Turkish baths print' which is inspired by the tile design in historic Turkish baths, the 'Dalmatia print', which is inspired by the Dalmatia coast and lastly the watercolour 'Istiran leopard print', which is named after the idyllic Istrian peninsula shared by 3 countries- Croatia, Slovenia and Italy.
