NZ School of Art and Fashion

New Zealand Certificate in Apparel and Fashion Technology (Level 3) 36 weeks
This practical, entry-level programme is designed to take you from little (or no) sewing experience to becoming proficient in using a variety of industrial machines (including automatic sewers, overlockers, cover seamers and binders) to create complete garments.

New Zealand Certificate in Apparel and Fashion Technology (Level 4) 42 weeks
This practical, entry-level programme teaches the skills and knowledge that are directly relevant in the clothing design and manufacturing sectors.

New Zealand Certificate in Apparel and Fashion Technology (Level 5) 36 weeks
This advanced programme builds on the core skills acquired at year one (level 4) and allows learners to construct their own garment collections while working with a variety of textiles, pattern matching and advanced industry techniques.
