A root vegetable called yacon could be poised to become the next Manuka Honey superstar export success, with a prebiotic juice extracted from New Zealand-grown yacon gathering momentum in New Zealand and offshore.

Then in the colon, the FOS is broken down by bacteria to produce Short Chain Fatty Acids (SCFA).
