Saben‘s stunning new collection called Exhale has launched in Saben stores, stockists and online. Working in an industry that is fundamentally about what is next; always working seasons ahead, Saben designer Roanne says “moments of being present have to be created. Having time, space and energy and no distractions – that is luxury. That feeling became the starting point of our collection.” The colour palette is paired back with fresh white, neutral linen, earthy tans and small highlight of re-energising poppy red. A calming new navy, lovingly called Prussian, is a loving ode to the designers early chapters as an artist; Roanne’s favourite colour to paint with. The act of painting itself is so meditative, pairing perfectly with the origins of the collection mood.
New shapes include Finn, a nano version of highly coveted Frankie and Fifi. The perfect festival piece to house your keys, cards and phone.Freddie is one for the mamas, oversized with pockets a-plenty, and with pram straps and handle options for muli-ways-to-wear – perfect for new mothers who do not want to part with style.
Saben introduces new fabrications with the resort-vibes cotton canvas stripe. Something we are told we shall expect more of in coming collections.
As per, there is a subtle nod to the hand made, with chevron feature leather which has been individually woven by hand. A subtle tie in to the story telling of the collection – creating moments and making time. The practice of weaving being meditative and therapeutic for the makers.
Last season Saben saw great success with hobo style Bex, so this season they’ve introduces a smaller size, Rebe. Perfect for a slighter frame, although it was designed with carrying-less in mind.
Cult purchased product Tilly is getting some competition with more continental wallet styles being welcomed to the range. Sam, Delilah and Zoey are perfect for wallet-traditionalists.
