Being dubbed the Coachella of Beauty, Auckland’s Beauty Nation event – the first of its kind – is set to bring thousands of beauty lovers together to Auckland Central.
To be held over two days (6 and 7 May 2023), the event promises a fully immersive festival experience, with six interactive zones that will include masterclasses, seminars, guest speakers, pamper stations, and a one-of-a-kind man cave. The show will also host an impressive line-up of industry experts, beauty brands, and entertainers.
Set to showcase some of New Zealand’s best and biggest beauty brands, Beauty Nation Co-founder Chrissy Ve says she is thrilled to offer what will be an unmatched experience for beauty lovers.
“As we all know, there is a craving for human connection after a challenging couple of years for the events sector, along with a gap in the market to serve Kiwi beauty consumers, so what better time than now to bring something so special and unique to our doorstep for beauty lovers,” she says.
Highlights on the event schedule are set to include keynote speeches by both Antipodes founder and CEO and 2018 New Zealand Entrepreneur of the Year (Product) Elizabeth Barbalich, and ed&i founder and reality TV star Edna Swart, as well as a full drag demonstration and meet and greet by much-loved drag superstar and winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under Season 1, Kita Mean.
With a key focus on celebrating diversity and cultural inclusivity, Beauty Nation looks set to deliver a weekend to remember for all ages.
