Clinque’s new Chubby Stick™ Moisturising Lip Colour Balm in collaboration with Crayola.
Leading beauty brand Clinique recently announced an exciting new collaboration with Crayola, the popular colouring brand. In a move that is sure to evoke great nostalgia for many women, the two brands have created a clever 10 shade limited edition collection of Chubby Stick™ Moisturising Lip Colour Balms that resembles Crayola’s iconic crayon design.
The idea was to capture the sense of joy and imagination that comes from opening a box of crayons but in a way that grown up women can enjoy (although we can see many little children wanting to get their hands on mum’s “crayons” too). Clinque worked closely with Crayola to colour match and create shades using some of Crayola’s beloved crayons with names like Mauvelous, Razzmatazz, Mango Tango, and Tickle Me Pink.
That sense of nostalgia is equally meaningful for Clinique and the brand is also looking to evoke the wistfulness and pleasure from those women who remember Clinique as their first skin care brand. We have no doubt lots of Clinique fans will enjoy playing with these wonderful new products.
