Céline Rita has returned with a fresh capsule collection for summer, offering a range of 10 dresses that are perfect for every summer outing. Designer Céline Cummins has continued to make made-to-order bridesmaids dresses over the past few seasons but it’s been a while since she has released a seasonal collection so Céline Rita fans will no doubt be very excited about this new range which is now available online.
“As our freedoms started to come back after months of living in lockdown, we became excited about the prospect of putting together fresh new outfits as we began reconnecting with our loved ones; pieces that felt different to our lockdown lives,” says Céline Cummins.
“So, we’ve designed a thoughtful capsule collection of 10 summer dresses to inspire women to play, dance, love and live while creating memories in our new world. This collection is inspired by finding joy in life’s simple pleasures – salty hair after a swim in the ocean, fresh linen on your bed, picking your own fruit, making a coffee, playing music loudly… It’s a feeling of freedom when we use our free time for our own enjoyment.”
Céline Rita’s romantic yet relaxed take on dresses has always been popular with her customers and this range sees a suitably pretty offering of dresses that have a hint of nostalgia from a carefree childhood summer gone by. That reflection is seen in the textured shirring, puffed sleeves and elegant square necklines that translate perfectly into a charming collection of covetable dresses.
To keep things suitably summery, the designer has opted for mostly cotton and linen for breathable fabrications. Prints are sweet and subtle with delicate florals and a fresh pear print alongside stripes and ginghams. The range of silhouettes offers relaxed styles and more tailored pieces with mini to midi lengths making for a great range of choices. Inspired by the sea and the feeling of freedom she personally gets from being near the ocean, Céline gravitated towards soft blues, greens and whites for this winsome collection.
“Our goal is to create pieces that are classic, chic and comfortable to empower women of all ages with effortless self-expression,” adds Céline Cummins. “Ultimately this range has been designed to be lived in with simple silhouettes and effortless styling. Although it may not be the summer we had hoped for, we still believe there are moments worth celebrating and memories to be made. We’re really looking forward to finding joy in life’s simple pleasures.”
