Designer Tanya Carlson recently released her eponymous brand’s beautiful Autumn/Winter 2020 collection which features reinterpreted pieces from the designer’s beloved archive. While we may not be able to shop it in person again for a little while yet it’s available to shop online with delivery available as soon as the current lockdown restrictions are lifted. For this range Tanya has carefully curated a winter edit which features a range of key pieces for an elegant winter wardrobe.
The designer’s workroom is above her Ponsonby Road boutique and Tanya has recently been spending more time connecting with customers in store which has given her a little more insight into what they’re wanting from her brand. With that in mind she created this collection which delivers on a range of looks that make for perfect day to night options and occasion pieces too.
Fresh interpretations of some of the much-loved pieces from the Carlson archive anchor the range in a winsome collection of emerald, ruby red, sapphire, and fuchsia tourmaline jewel tones. Among those superbly cut pieces are a tailored high neck blouse, cigarette pants, double breasted coat, drop shoulder coat, wrap dress, and an A-line style dress. They’re complemented by several new styles that will no doubt be enjoyed by Carlson’s many fans. The result is a cohesive collection of 21 pieces which are impeccably made and designed to be worn for years to come.
Tanya Carlson has always prided herself on the high level of craftsmanship of her clothing and this range again demonstrates the exceptional skill of her and her team.
