Looks from Camilla and Mark’s Nostalgia collection for AW21. Images supplied.
Camilla and Marc’s latest collection Nostalgia shows that timelessness and youthfulness go hand-in-hand. Inspired by the past, the stripped-back collection looks to breathe life into traditional aesthetics.
“I’m curious about the idea of progress through self-connection; and how our experiences and thoughts entirely form and shape our way forward. In a way, this collection represents the power of looking back, and the simplicity of truly recognising our own journey,” says Camilla and Marc’s Creative Director, Camilla Freeman-Topper.
Offset by the slim-legged Octava Pants, the Octava Jacket creates a relaxed silhouette that exudes confidence. Worn by Australian actor Rachel Ward, the jacket is tailored, accented by customs trims and gold jewellery that nods to brooches of the past.
Nostalgia not only offers structure, but soft femininity in the form of the Pandora Dress. Ruched detailing and triangular cut-outs compliment any figure and speak to the carefree woman.
Pops of cerulean blue and dark tangerine appear throughout the otherwise neutral collection, making the Tanami Knit Jumper a collection favourite. Available in cerulean, the knit is the perfect addition to your wardrobe as we enter Autumn and will serve you through till Spring. Nostalgia’s utilitarian intent is evident and welcomed in this easy to style piece.
“This collection is an intimate portrayal of the past and it’s perceived simplicity, an energetic interpretation of things gone, shaped and crafted for this moment in time and the woman who inhabits the now,” adds Camilla.
Nostalgia is for women of the present – to acknowledge the power that comes with self-awareness and the beauty in simplicity.
The collection is completed with a selection of tops, pants, outerwear, shoes, bags and accessories and is available in stores and online now.
