Caitlin Crisp recently released her summery Season Three collection online and at selected stockists – offering a seasonal twist on the designer’s trademark style. The easy to wear designs are perfect for a New Zealand summer, with the collection predominantly made of linen, silk, and cotton fabrics, boasting crisp colours and floral prints.
“Essentially, I designed it when COVID wasn’t around yet so it’s a very optimistic, happy and summery collection,” says designer Caitlin Crisp. “It was my ultimate Europe pack list as I had a big trip planned to have my first European Summer this year but it has been perfect to brighten up NZ summer in the end. The pink silk linen is a limited edition fabric and print just for us.”
The pink silk linen fabric and corresponding key print can be exclusively seen on the Cooper Crop and Newport Shorts. Both pieces are highly functional and can be worn with sneakers for a casual look or nude heels for any summer occasion. The Cooper Crop is reversible with a simple necktie, billowy sleeves, and elastic cuffs and waistband to cinch in without compromising comfort. With functional dressing at the forefront of the Season Three collection, the Newport Shorts are disguised as a skirt to create a cute and playful piece that remains wearable. The Cooper Crop and Newport Shorts can be worn as a set or as individual garments.
The Marsden Point Tank is another favourite of Caitlin Crisp’s followers, having sold out when the collection first dropped. Its adjustable, bow-tie-shoulder straps make for effortless styling and are sure to transform any outfit. The sell-out Marsden Point Tank comes in white, pink and black, making it a summer wardrobe essential and will be re-released this week.
