Caitlin Crisp has launched her Winter 2022 collection in stores and online, offering a curation of chic pieces that continues the party the brand kicked off last season. Designer Caitlin Crisp brings her signature optimistic enthusiasm to this beautiful collection which embraces the joy of dressing up and provides easy glamour for any occasion.
“The premise for winter is the same as it was for autumn – it was what I was dreaming of wearing had I been going out for an intimate dinner or to a winter wedding. I was craving putting together outfits and each piece was designed with these moments in mind,” says Caitlin Crisp.
The designer created the collection at the tail end of Auckland’s last lockdown and it presented her with an opportunity for escapism by exploring the sartorial style of celebrating the special moments which were on hold at the time. The result is a sublime range of elegant looks that build on previous seasons with a sense of modernity and cohesion that appeals to the Caitlin Crisp customer.
Among the looks from the charming new collection are sophisticated dresses in longer lengths that are suitably stylish. The designer has utilised tweed for a co-ordinating set featuring a bodice, skirt and blazer which have a cool ’90s feel. Caitlin Crisp has also crafted long coats in classic silhouettes that are refined and perfectly cosy for the cooler weather. Cold shoulder tops with a retro inspired feel and tie-front dresses and tops elevate everyday looks with a sense of playfulness. Season Seven sees Caitlin Crisp embrace the winter months with confidence and effortless style.
