Bonds are known for their young, fun approach to underwear so it’s no surprise that their new brand ambassador, Shortland Street actress Frankie Adams, embodies the youthful, energetic spirit of the label.
Adams is the first New Zealander to represent the brand and she played hostess at a morning tea for the media last week to chat about the new hipsters briefs collection and her excitement at being an ambassador for such a high profile label.
Appearing flanked by four other models all dressed in Bonds bright new range, it was clear that Adams was genuine in her enthusiasm for the brand and cheerfully posed for photos for the assembled media.
She confessed her favourite style is the bikini cut although she is also a fan of the cheeky way the wider elastic pieces peek out from the top of jeans.
“I love this Bonds collection because it’s bright,” enthused Adams. “I’m quite a confident person so it’s perfect for me. I like the cuts and how they cater to every age. I got some for my mum and my younger sister, so we’re all wearing Bonds now.”
No doubt Adams is still getting used to seeing the giant billboards of herself in the new Bonds range now adorning the city, but she is definitely a great choice of ambassador and it’s nice to see a New Zealand face representing the brand here.
Bonds hipsters colourful prints mix florals and bold statement prints for a fun effect and are designed to be mixed and matched.
With neon bright elastic in fashionable colours they’re an affordable and fun addition to your summer wardrobe and available nationwide at The Warehouse and Bonds stockists.
