Boh Runga recently opened an elegant new Bohtique in Ponsonby, Auckland which offers her brand’s full range of jewellery, baby products and design projects. The new store is just down the road from her former boutique and offers the Boh Runga brand more space as the designer explores new territories in celebration of the brand’s 15 years of gifting.
“Our new Bohtique has opened its doors and we can’t wait to welcome you inside,” says Boh Runga. “We have loved working with Shelley Ferguson to bring our retail dreams to life, creating a space that offers a personalised shopping experience for all. We hope to see you soon!”
Each Boh Runga collection is made to be gifted. For Boh, every collection starts with a story and every design has a message she hopes will resonate with its recipient. Reminders of people and places you can take with you wherever you go.
Available in store and online is Boh Runga’s recently launched lifestyle brand, bohboh, with its first line bohboh baby offering thoughtfully designed pieces that are designed to be treasured. Each bohboh baby piece is designed and made in Aotearoa using OEKO-TEX certified organic cotton that is gentle and breathable for baby’s skin.
The new store also offers a hybrid digital-bricks and mortar way to shop, with Pick N Mix iPad stations allowing customers to Pick N Mix their own Bohspoke jewellery piece in-store. Customers can choose from their favourite jewellery styles and metals, adding charms to create a unique piece that they can take home for themselves or gift to someone else.
This week, Boh Runga Jewellery launches the brand’s debut podcast episode for bohboh radio, which is a limited series podcast where Boh will chat with special friends about their childhood stories. The first episode will feature Boh’s friend and Marigold ‘bohlaboration’ partner, Anika Moa, with more familiar names to follow in upcoming episodes.
You can find Boh Runga’s new Bohtique at 287 Ponsonby Road, Ponsonby, Auckland.
