Perfectly timed for Autumn, Blunt Umbrellas have launched a beautiful new collaboration with New Zealand born, Melbourne based beauty and botanical illustrator Kelly Thompson. The gorgeous limited edition range comes in two charming colourways and arrives in stores and online today.
Fans of Kelly’s whimsical illustrations will love the detailed, hand-sketched design which draws inspiration from her local farmers’ markets. Available in sky blue or apricot the umbrellas feature winsome wildflowers and delectable mushrooms in Kelly’s iconic illustrative style.
“At the time of working on this illustration, we were deep in the Melbourne lockdown and a once-weekly trip to the farmers market became a highlight,” says Kelly. “As an illustrator, it is always so exciting to take your illustrations from a page or a screen and see them on something tactile. Collaborating with brands and designers has always resulted in some of my favourite projects, so when Blunt asked me to design for them, I jumped at the opportunity.”
