Back for another evening this Thursday, 30th July is BLOC Collective’s Mid-Winter Night Markets – as hosted by its flagship brands Citta, Father Rabbit, BoConcept, A&C Homestore, Hej Hej and Little Babies by Monstera.
The Collective’s annual night market has invited a few extra stalls for the evening; handbag brand Harry & Co, jewellery designer VANIA, and sustainable fashion brand Loclaire; all in the spirit of supporting local and artisan brands after a challenging few months.
Bringing community, wine, shopping and comfort food is a favourite night for many of the participating brands, promising to lighten up our darker evenings. The idea for the event is to give people a lovely reason to have something fun to do with a big community of people – eating, drinking and shopping local! The inclusion of NZ’s talented local brands gives BLOC’s evolving community of design focused and curious shoppers the opportunity to be exposed to many new local brands they may not have come across before.
There will be so many wonderful bargains from all collaborators ranging from tastings, end of lines and samples, and one-night-only deals. Alongside the brilliant selection of homeware, gift and pet brands such as Bentley & Hart Candles, Claybird Ceramics, Fume Products, The Good Pet Home, enjoy a bite to eat, drop of wine or tea from French Fine Foods, Akemis Gyoza, Double Dutch Fries, Foundry Chocolate, Fine & Dandy Tea or Jules Taylor Wines.
While the cool weather continues, the warm environment of one of Auckland’s most snug evenings is a perfect excuse for people to round up their loved ones, enjoy a delicious bite and beverage and bring that supportive spirit knowing they are supporting the best of what small businesses have to offer.
BLOC Collective’s Mid-Winter Night Markets is from 5 – 9pm on Thursday 30 July at 20 Normanby Road, Mt Eden. For more information, visit their Facebook event page.
