It’s a big name in beauty retail overseas and now Sephora has announced plans open its first New Zealand retail store in Auckland in 2019. The global retailer has over 3,000 stores around the world with Sephora Asia currently operating 350 storres in twelve countries including Australia, Singapore and Thailand. New Zealand is next on the list along with Hong Kong and Korea to get their own stores. Sephora offers it’s own beloved house brand of makeup and skincare alongside beauty ranges from some of the world’s top brands.
Sephora has been offering e-commerce in NZ since November 2015, but their first bricks-and-mortar store on Auckland’s Queen Street is an exciting step that expands their offering here. The new Sephora store’s design will pay homage to the retailer’s global brand by incorporating iconic black and white striped calepinage, while staying true to the rich heritage of the building and Queen Street’s iconic feel.

An opening date has yet to be announced but no doubt beauty fans will be pretty thrilled about this exciting new development from Sephora.
