Autumn's Feeling Retro at Farmers

Zoe in an outfit I styled at Farmers autumn preview day.

Autumn's cooling air means it's the perfect time to snuggle up in knits and enjoy longer hemlines that are part of the retro trend again this season. The sixties and seventies have had a major influence on the past few seasons and can be seen in Farmer's latest ranges for autumn. Embracing rich hues and retro-inspired silhouettes is a big part of their new looks and I went along last week to preview the collections that have started arriving in stores. Longer vests and coats, wide legged pants, tunic dresses and a-line skirts are all part of their latest offering with fringing and texture key components of the looks.

I was given the opportunity to style model Zoe in a few pieces of my choice and being inclined towards dresses I chose a look that is feminine and easy to wear. I love the beautiful embroidery on the dress and floral details on the wrap which I've draped like a shawl for this look. The hat, boots and necklace add to the vintage-inspired look while still being modern and relevant to my wardrobe today. These are the details for the pieces I chose:

– Zest Weekend Embroidered Dress in Ink $99.99
– Xcesri Bobbie Wide Felt Hat $59.99
– Boston & Bailey Graphic Blooms Wrap $79.99
– Salucci Collection Block Heel Knee Hi Boot $119.99
– Project X Polaris Crystal Necklace $19.99

Here are some of the other great autumn pieces Farmers have instore this season, the garments are arriving over March and April with some pieces like the ink dress above in stores now.
