Ruby are swept up in a dark romance this Autumn with a rich continuation of the Italian inspiration that informed their Pre-Fall collection. For this new collection designer Deanna Didovich revels in flirty dresses, ruched waists and layered ruffles that are playful and charming. The softer pieces are contrasted with distressed denim and more structured outerwear.
The elegant wide-legged pants that have been so popular in recent collections return in their high-waisted glory teamed with off the shoulder tops of delicate camisole styles. Pretty polka dots and a detailed Fresco print add to the Italian feel, amplified by the tee printed with “Numero 37 Viale Lune”. The merlot red, rose, emerald and blue in this collection make for a perfect Autumn colour palette that’s colourful enough to keep your spirits up as the sky turns grey.
