Turet Knuefermann’s designs on the runway for ASKO.
ASKO arrived in New Zealand last week and the high-end brand of European-designed appliances teamed up with local designer Turet Knuefermann for a stylish launch event at Mantells. ASKO’s stunning collection of kitchen and laundry appliances is Scandanavian inspired and winner of multiple Red Dot Awards for design excellence and innovation. It’s now distributed in New Zealand by the Jones Family Business.
Knuefermann is also European in origin and much like ASKO is at the top end of design in her field with the brands sharing a clean yet sophisticated aesthetic. Guests were treated to a runway presentation of Knuefermann’s current collection which we were fortunate enough to see at New Zealand Fashion Week this year. The chic collection had a relaxed feel and was made up of easy to wear pieces in luxurious fabrics with a contemporary soundtrack provided by Peter Urlich. After the show the ASKO collection was revealed with special guest Matteo Camesasca, a senior executive from ASKO welcomed by owner of Jones Family Business, Mark Jones.
