Andrea Moore’s first collection of eyewear marks the beginning of another exciting design journey with styles that represent a new take on the brand’s aesthetic and an overarching commitment to quality.
The premium frames are manufactured from Italian-made acetate – a sophisticated glamour and an incredible depth of shine are achieved when each pair is tumbled in olive oil for two weeks.
Globally renowned Sola lenses offer superior eye protection, and the longevity of the ‘optical-ready’ frames is ensured with French, 24 carat gold-coated hinges.
In contrast with the bold hues and quirky wit of her ready to wear collections, designer Andrea Moore has chosen a paired back palette for her eyewear debut. Tones of nude, black, tortoiseshell and crystal make for a classic, trans-seasonal beauty and a silver-screen presence.
Andrea Moore eyewear will be in-store from 1 December 2014 – RRP $379.
This cool juxtaposition fits seamlessly with a wider brand story which has at its core a willingness to explore and blend unexpected elements to deliver a distinctly new energy season after season.
Also typical of the designer’s creative momentum is the wanderlust for journeys past, present and dreamed of which has shaped her first, short-run eyewear story.
The collection will be sold in Andrea Moore stores nationwide, and in an ever-growing number of premium boutiques and eyewear specialists throughout New Zealand and Australia.
