Designer Amber Pinto has announced today that she is closing her Amber Whitecliffe fashion and bridal labels and her Parnell boutique will close it’s doors on 1st June 2019. The designer recently celebrated 7 years in business, the 5th birthday of her Parnell boutique and 14 years of Amber working in the New Zealand fashion industry.
“Amber Whitecliffe has come so far and I am really proud of what myself and my team have achieved together,” says Amber. “Dressing thousands of women and being involved in over 400 weddings. All of this wouldn’t have been possible without the support I have received from my customers and the industry so I wanted to say thank you.”
“I love what I do and have put everything into this business over the last seven years, so this decision has been very difficult to make. Life has thrown a few obstacles my way recently and I have decided that it is the right move and right time to take a break and a step back for a little while. Health is wealth, as the saying goes and after recent events in my life, I have been reminded that it is so important to be able to take time look after yourself and spend quality time with loved ones, time which I have, over these years, sacrificed a lot of. I’m excited to take a step back, reassess and see what this new chapter brings.”
The brand will continue with its last bridal orders and the samples from Amber’s bridal collections are all currently on sale. She has also put her ready to wear fashion collection and fabrics from her workroom on sale in her Parnell boutique and online.
As much as we’re sad to see Amber’s labels close as we’ve been fans of her and her brand since the beginning, we wish her all the best with her next steps in life.
