ANDES ADVENTURES: South American drawn inspiration showcased with Aztec woollen ponchos, feather detailing and huge silver tribal neckpieces. Cosy furs, suede and sheepskin (Lilly has a take on the increasingly popular sherling jacket) featured alongside luxe leopard print pants, full circle skirts and dresses.
FIRST LADY FIESTA: Showcased Sera Lilly’s signature cocktail pieces, blouses, bustiers, trenches and dresses with a distinct Latin twist achieved by the uses of sequins, punchy colour combinations, ruffles, flamenco tiering and lush floral patterns.
THE GOVERNERS BALL: This is the couture part of the business, and it shows with hand sewn embellishments on floor length bridal and evening gowns.
The final gown sent down the catwalk was an unconventional gothic black bridal gown complete with veil and train, showing that there’s something for everyone in Sera Lilly’s 2011 Autumn Winter Collection.
